"I hope as a coach I can reflect what I've learned overtime into the players; to help them grow and take on challenges both on and off the field."

QTSD TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT COACH

EVAN SCOTT

PERSONAL MISSION:

To help players develop and find their strengths as a player in addition to furthering their love for the game!

LIGHT BULB MOMENT:

For me it came around my senior year of high school soccer. Soccer wasn't going as planned and I progressively saw my play time going down. I started to rethink the sports and if I even wanted to play anymore. But after much thought, I realized soccer is much more than just what's on the field. It's a way to connect with others, engage in conversations, and grow as a person. While this is a sport, many important life lessons can be taught through it.  I hope as a coach I can reflect what I've learned overtime into the players; to help them grow and take on challenges both on and off the field.

ONE THING I'D CHANGE IN SOCCER:

The pressure kids are put under. Everyone is expected to be on the top club or play every minute of every game or else they're not good enough. The sport is meant to be enjoyed at every level no matter if you're playing or not. Everyone has a role on their team and should embrace it. Not be embarrassed.
